The business systems of Hydrospider AG in Switzerland – which is in the process of being built up nationwide in Switzerland – is the world’s first that focuses on a containerized logistics for Hydrogen distribution on a large scale. The first commercial application to be served by this system is a heavy truck fleet produced by Hyundai but is also open for Hydrogen cars and other applications.

Name of the company
“Vernconex” is the amalgamation of two words, “vern” from Jules Verne, one of the pioneers of Hydrogen as an energy source and “conex” a containerized logistic system invented by the US Army in the 1950’s. The Conex Box system is considered as being one of the predecessors of the modern intermodal ISO 6346 shipping containers which are being used worldwide and also by our company.
